Gary Reusable Adult Cloth Diaper - Pull-On
Pull-on adult cloth diapers made from soft flannel cloth with highly absorbent layers of soft terry.
Pull-on adult cloth diapers made from soft flannel cloth with highly absorbent layers of soft terry.
The best alternative to disposable adult diapers for men and women is reusable cotton cloth pull ups with plastic pants. Skin rash will seldom be a problem since cloth diapers are more breathable, comfortable, and gentler to your skin. Our soft woven, 100% organic cotton pull-on adult diapers made by Gary® come with super absorbent terry layers in the crotch area that helps wick moisture away from the skin and offers you maximum protection and discreteness without the bulkiness around the hips.
This is a perfect alternative to disposable diapers, and it provides incontinence protection to adults. Compared to disposable diapers, these adult cloth diapers offer comfort and an eco-friendly way to reduce waste when necessary.
They’re also more discreet and breathable, as these adult cloth diapers feel the same as the underwear they’ve used in the past. Please note, it’s discouraged to use baby diapers on adults even if they fit, as they might not provide enough protection for their incontinence.
These adult diapers pull on and off the same as underwear. The comfortable waist and leg bands on these diapers are elasticized for perfect support. The snug fit eliminates the need for pins, snaps, or velcro. This product is the ideal protection when combined with our waterproof vinyl plastic bloomers or pants for anyone who needs heavy to complete protection for bladder and/or bowel incontinence and for staying dry at night.
This is a preferred product compared to diapers on women, as some may feel embarrassed wearing disposable adult diapers. Diapered men might complain more about rashes and uncomfortable textures, which could end up being dangerous to their health as well.
Some diapering adults might have adhesive allergies they are unaware of, which can cause skin complications. Wearing cloth diapers can be a healthier alternative to adult disposable diaper options, and it can be cheaper in the long run, too.
For the incontinence sufferer who is allergic to toxic chemicals in paper pulp in disposable adult diapers, cotton/terry diapers are the perfect solution. Less noisy, they give you greater dignity and comfort. Gary® quality all in one terry cloth diapers are suitable for institutional use and made to withstand hundreds of machine wash and dry cycles. Since pull-on terry diapers are made without waterproof backing, it is necessary to wear either plastic pants or bloomers over these diapers to contain any leakage. With diapers select the outer adult plastic pants one size larger than usual.
Adult diapering can be strange and discouraging for most seniors, so opting for adult cloth diapers can be a win-win for most patients. Since the diaper is made of fabric, it recreates the comfort and the idea of common underwear, but with better absorbency capabilities.
However, if the patient needs to go out, it’s important to wear something along with the fabric diaper, as it’s not entirely waterproof. Ideally, plastic bloomers can protect the clothing just fine without sacrificing comfort.
This cloth diaper is gentle on the skin and perfect for all ages. Adults wearing cloth diapers value their image, comfort, and safety, which is why we make ours with 100% organic cotton.
Measuring Your Pants Size:
Note: Please adhere to the measurements on the page of the product you wish to purchase, as the sizes of different products may not correspond.
Measuring Instructions
Waist
Measure by wrapping a tape measure around your torso where you expect the waistband of the pants to be when wearing them. For the best fit, your actual waist size should be near the middle between Unstretched and Maximum Stretched; for example, a 36 inch waist falls roughly in the middle between 26 and 46 inches.
Leg
Measure your thigh circumference (i.e., distance around) at the groin where your thigh meets your pelvis. For the best fit, your actual leg size should be near the middle between Unstretched and Maximum Stretched; for example, a 22 inch leg size falls roughly in the middle between 18 and 26 inches.
Washing Instructions:
Your newly purchased adult cloth diaper should be pre-washed and dried before you use it in order to fluff up. This will maximize absorbency and softness. Use a biodegradable, non-phosphate detergent, or a vegetable based soap. Do not use fabric softeners with cloth diapers, it will lessen the absorbency of the cotton cloth and can cause an allergic reaction in people with sensitive skin. After use, hanging the wet diaper to dry in full sun for several hours, is a great way to remove stain.
